Affordable Care Act

Unfortunately the Supreme Court upheld the decision to penalize Americans who can afford healthcare and don’t have it. They say it’s not a tax, but that is exactly how this was pushed through…..Congress’ right to tax. I feel that there is a huge problem here. With about half of our country not paying taxes now, Capitalism all but gone and more people living off the system we are going in the wrong direction. Since Obama was elected unemployment has gone up, as well as more Americans than ever are on welfare. We are breeding this attitude that it’s more beneficial to let others work to pay for someone else to not. I understand that there are people who need help and I am all for helping them. I am not for helping those that are milking the system while you and I continue to pay for them. Now to see this “fee” imposed for not purchasing health insurance is another indication to me of what’s wrong. Technically, in the future if Obamacare occurs, regardless if I have health insurance for myself, I will be paying for others to have it in taxes so I essentially will have purchased health insurance. I find it strikingly odd that if our nation someday has Obama health insurance, members of the government won’t use it and will have private insurance. Does anyone see a huge problem with this? As a Chiropractor if I refused to get adjusted and kept on adjusting others and promoting Health, would people trust or believe in me anymore? I truly hope to see our nation find a way into the right direction. I found an interesting quote from Donald Trump I’m sure some of you have seen.
"Let me get this straight...... We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a Dumbo President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that broke!!!"-Donald Trump 2012
