I think we often times forget that our bodies are always trying to do what is best for us. Tight muscles around the spine, for example, are a protective mechanism attempting to hold something in place that is trying to move out of place (subluxation). It is not a result of a muscle relaxer deficiency. Pain is an alarm system that your body turns on to alert you about a problem. It is very similar to indicators on the dashboard of your car when you take care of the problem, they turn off. Very few if any attempt to turn off those indicators without addressing the problem. Unfortunately, medications cover up or prevent our bodies from trying to do what is best. Certainly this cannot be how true Health is obtained. Rest assured that Chiropractic care performed with precision works with your body to improve function which ultimately gets you healthier.
